Michelle Whelan is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Lawyering Program. After graduating with honors from the University of Florida School of Law in 1990, Ms. Whelan practiced commercial litigation at the Miami law firms of Greenberg Traurig and Steel, Hector & Davis. During her 17-year career in private practice, she represented corporate clients in lawsuits involving shareholder disputes, breaches of contract, product liability, real estate disputes, defamation, and intellectual property. Ms. Whelan was also actively involved in summer associate recruiting and hiring.
