Welcome to the Cornell Law School On-Line Alumni Directory. This directory permits a password-protected search by and for fellow alumni by name, class year, geographical area, or practice area(s).

Alumni may inquire about passwords by contacting the Alumni Office at (607) 255-5251 or by sending an e-mail to alumni@postoffice.law.cornell.edu.

Directory Overview

The Cornell Law School Alumni Directory contains listings for all degree-holding alumni of the Cornell Law School, except for deceased alumni and alumni who have specifically requested that the Law School not release their contact information.

Each record contains the following information (if on file with the Law School): name, home address, home telephone number, business address, business telephone number, fax number, email address, degree, class year, and practice area(s).

To update your information:

  • Log in 
  • E-mail us your information or updates for fellow law school alumni/ae

To access the on-line Alumni Directory, you will need internet access using Internet Explorer 3.0 or Netscape Navigator 3.0, or better.

Directory Search Tips

Alumni have 4 ways to search the on-line Directory:

  • Name
  • Class Year
  • Practice Area
  • Geographical Area (state and/or country)

The more information you can provide, the faster you will hone in on your inquiry. When you have entered as much information as you know or wish to retrieve, hit the FIND button. To remove some of the criteria and broaden your search, hit the CLEAR button.

Search examples:

  • Wish to find a fellow alum and have no idea where he/she is? Enter Last Name, First Name, and Class Year, then hit "FIND."
  • Moving to another state, say Wyoming, and want to connect with other Law School alumni there? Select “WY” on the state search, and hit "FIND."
  • Want to find a good Admiralty lawyer in Louisiana? Select “Admiralty” for practice area and “LA” for the state, then hit “FIND.”

Please Note: Networking with other alumni to inquire about possible client referrals or other legal matters, or matters connected with the Cornell Law Association are common directory uses. However, we caution discretion and respect for database information. Solicitation and forwarding the information to others not affiliated with Cornell is prohibited.

Privacy Policy: Cornell Law School and the Cornell Law Association will NOT sell alumni directory information to any third party for any commercial or other purpose. Users of this directory can view only one record at a time in order to prevent the creation of mail lists. All users are hereby advised that this directory may not be reproduced and stored in a retrieval system by any means, nor may the information in this directory be used for commercial or political solicitation of any kind.
